My Son and Santa are BFFs!

Today we took my one year old son to see Santa! Last year we took him on December 10th and he was almost a month old. Today he is almost 13 months old. The difference is amazing! He has grown so much!

Last year I sat next to Santa and held Jack on my lap because he was so little. Santa asked very nicely to hold Jack after we took some photos and I let him. It was so sweet!

This year I wasn't sure if I would need to sit next to Jack and Santa or not. I didn't need to! As soon as I handed Jack to Santa he was all smiles! We got some pretty cute photos, too. I especially like the one where they are looking at each other. It looks like Jack is giving Santa his wish list! He probably would have but he only speaks 4 words right now. ;)

This Blogging Thing

I used to blog almost every day on LiveJournal. I stopped that a few years ago and haven't blogged since. I decided to give it another shot, mostly because I am now a member of Influenster.

If you haven't yet, you should check out Influenster! You can review thousands of products on the website and earn badges. Active participants gets selected for what they call "voxboxes", which is a box of full-sized products for you to try and review. So far I have participated in a Degree Women's voxbox. I tested and reviewed Degree Women's Deodorant with MotionSense. I really like this product! I am picky when it comes to deodorant and I will definitely purchase this product when I run out. It smells great and I only had to apply it once in a 24 hour period, which is important to me. The last thing I want to worry about it is if my deodorant is working and if I need to apply it again. With this product I didn't worry about it and it worked great. Plus it's not clinical strength - which I've used before - so it is cheaper. I definitely recommend it!

Influenster also has what they call "virtual voxboxes". I have participated in one so far. I was invited to check out PUR water's new campaign for their water filters with Maxion technology and their new new water critic, Arthur Tweedie. He cracks me up and reminds me a lot of Gil Chesterton from Frasier. After earning the badge for that campaign I also won a PUR Ultimate 11 Cup Pitcher with Maxion Technology! I have been using it for almost a month now and I really like it.

I will mostly be posting about Influenster on this blog, but I will try to post about other things as well. It may take me a while to get back into the groove of blogging.
